I am often asked by my soon-to-be first time moms what will be happening when they give birth. I explain based on my two births but sometimes someone comes up with a great explanation that is so amazing. The video I’m going to show you is just that.
Liz Chalmers, co-owner of Puget Sound Birth Center in the Seattle Area made a video for her niece and it has since gone viral using a balloon and ping pong ball to show how birth works. It is a perfect explanation from Braxton Hicks Contractions all the way to birth.
Just try not to laugh to hard when the ping pong ball come hurtling out at the end. Real babies don’t do that. Enjoy!
